I hope your producer doesn't produce the life out of you this time. Chariot Stripped was beyond incredible. It is one of my favorite "go to" albums - whether i'm feelin' good or feelin' blue. Your live show is equally fantastic.
Your ...studio albums have held you back. When is the music industry going to stop trying to squeeze people into tiny little cliches, and start celebrating the unique artistry of the musicians and singers that have given their lives to hone their craft?
Your voice is an instrument that should be ranked with the likes of Etta James, Stevie Wonder, and Smokey Robinson. I hope that either J Records realizes that you are brilliant when you do your thing, or you switch to an indie label where you do have more creative freedom.
